Safety is a top priority here at Florida Door Solutions because the door industry is dangerous enough, without common mistakes and carelessness. Here are the top 10 things we do to promote safety at Florida Door Solutions:
1. All employees are CPR certified by the American Heart Association
2. All emplyees are 1st Aid and AED trained by the American Heart Association
3. All foreman are OSHA-10 trained Construction Certified/ Trained
4. All technicians are FortLift and ManLift Licenesed
5. Safety Coordinator holds a OSHA-30 certificate
6. Weekly safety meets are held for 30 minutes to discuss different topics
7. Each installation vehical is equipment with a tie-off, safety goggles, hard hat and gloves
8. Fire retardant uniforms are supplied for all technicians (steel toe boots are required-except for residential)
9. A mandatory lunch break and two 15-minutes breaks (as per DOL) are included in each scheduled day.
10. Each technician is factory or manufacturer trained before visiting a job site or installing material
